After deciding to skip the Monte Carlo Masters 1000, Ben Shelton returns to action this Monday at the ATP tournament in Munich. The American had a disappointing March, with early exits at Indian Wells (third round) and Miami (second round). This rough patch continued in Houston on clay, where the world No. 8 didn’t make it past the quarterfinals in Texas. As a result, Ben Shelton chose to take some time off before traveling across Europe to begin his preparation for Roland Garros with a stop in Bavaria.

Emilio Nava is already in rhythm in Munich. The American went through qualifying but fell short in the final round against Alex Molcan.
