Elina Svitolina vs Anna Kalinskaya Prediction & Picks - WTA Berlin Open

In Berlin on Monday, two players ranked inside the WTA's top 20 will lock horns in Berlin, where German Open is now underway. Elina Svitolina wiill be playing her first grass-court tournament of the season, also playing for the first time since exiting the French Open at the quarter-final stage. The same can be said for Anna Kalinskaya, who is also playing her first grass-court match of the 2026 campaign. She too reached the quarters at Roland Garros. 

We know that Svitolina is an all-round player, one who can certainly tussle on grass, but it's interesting that she usually skips this event, not playing in Berlin since a first-round exit back in 2021. This tells us that she likely isn't suited to the conditions, which is not really something we can say for Kalinskaya, who reached the final of this tournament back in 2024. Given this and her recent form, she looks generously priced in the early betting.
