Madison Keys of the United States will try to secure her fourth quarterfinals stint at the Australian Open against fellow veteran Elena Rybakina of Kazakhstan on Monday. Keys pushed her winning streak to eight matches with a 6-4 6-4 victory over compatriot Danielle Rose Collins on Saturday. She collected 36 of her 64 total points on first serves while capturing three break point conversions that gave her the edge she needed to beat Collins for the third time in four head-to-head matches. Rybakina played through a back injury to win Dayana Yastremska of Ukraine 6-3 6-4 and advance to the round of 16. The former Australian Open finalist needed a medical timeout after just three games into the match. After getting few minutes of therapy from his physio, Rybakina resumed the match but was noticeably struggling to move around the court due to some back pains. With a little bit of magic, the Kazakh was able to hack out an improbable win over the error-prone Yastremska, who recorded 37 unforced errors.
