One of Wednesday's BNP Paribas Open matches sees a man who has twice reached the final in Indian Wells get down to business. That's right, the hugely in-form Daniil Medvedev will be back on the court, and he'll be looking to deliver another commanding performance following impressive straight-set wins over two top-50 competitors. Facing the Russian will be Alex Michelsen, who has also been playing very well at this event, defeating Taylor Fritz last time out, causing a sizable upset.
Can Michelsen pick up another surprising win? Personally, I doubt it. as good as the US player has been in Indian Wells so far, he's not quite operating at Medvedev's level, while he also has a rather poor record against the Grand Slam winner. When the pair met back in January, Medvedev won in straight sets. Expect to see something similar here.
