On the WTA side of things at Roland Garros on Tuesday, there's a very interesting match between Dalma Galfi and Maiar Sherif, both of whom are ranked outside of the top 100 but ranked inside the top 150. The Hungarian hasn't played since losing her third match at the WTA event in Rome during the first week of May, while Maiar Sherif has been busy, playing three qualifying matches at the French Open already. Will this extra recent experience hold her in good stead here?
The early market has Galfi down as the slight favorite, but it's easy to disagree with that, especially when we consider that Sherif had beaten her Hungarian opponent not once but twice on clay. If anything, it is Sherif who really should be the narrow favorite ahead of this clash, so odds of +120 really do present us with a slice of the value cake.
