Another of Sunday's EPL fixtures sees Crystal Palace and Brighton lock horns at Selhurst Park. In a battle between the Eagles and Seagulls, can either team come out on top? Well, as the league table suggests, there may not be much between the pair. Right now, the hosts find themselves in ninth position, and in truth, it's been a steady start to the season from Oliver Glasner's men, who arrive at this junction just two points outside of the top four. They've also won each of their last three in all competitions.
The visitors have also made a decent start to the new campaign, sitting just one point behind Sunday's opponents, leaving them only three points shy of the all-important top four. Fabian Hurzeler's men also come into this game off the back of a pleasing win, with the Seagulls defeating Leeds by a comfortable three goals to zero last weekend. As far as I'm concerned, the betting market continues to underestimate Yankuba Minteh, who is having a promising season for Brighton. Effective on the break, direct and capable of not only scoring goals but creating goals, Minteh offers a serious threat. Since the end of September, for club and country, the Gambian has produced eight goals and assists, scoring one goal and delivering three assists in the Premier League.
He delivered and assist last weekend, and will likely hurt a Palace team that won't be too fresh following their midweek exploits. Frankly, given how threatening Minteh has been this season, odds of +210 are too generous to ignore. Take the value while it's on offer.
