New York Liberty continued where they left off last season, winning their first three games. They are coming off a controversial 2-point win over Indiana, scoring 30 and 25 points in the first and second rounds, respectively. The defending champs have a busy schedule this week, with matches against the Valkyries (two) and Mystics before hosting the Sun.
As for Connecticut, this has been one of their worst starts to the season ever. They are coming off two road defeats against the Lynx and the Dream, condemning them to four straight losses this season.
