The Columbus Blue Jackets (14-14-6, 7-8-3 Away) will try to get back on the right side of the scoreboard today when they face the Anaheim Ducks (20-13-2, 11-5-0 Home) at the Honda Center in Anaheim, CA. The puck drops at 10 p.m. EST with coverage provided by ESPN+.
Columbus ended a five-game losing streak the last time they faced the Ducks on their home ice with a 4-3 OT win. The Blue Jackets, at one time, led the Ducks 3-1 during the second period of that game, but Anaheim was able to tie the game up at 3-3 early in the third. Adam Fantilli scored the game-winner and his 12th of the season at the 3:32 mark in overtime. However, the good times didn’t last long as they dropped their next one to the Minnesota Wild, 5-2. As for Anaheim, the Ducks are still trying to get back on the right side of the scoreboard themselves. After the road loss to Columbus on Tuesday, they returned home to host the Dallas Stars Friday night and were dominated; Dallas led 4-1 after the first period and 7-1 after the second, then coasted to an 8-3 win.
