The Chicago Sky (2-5) visit the New York Liberty (8-0) on June 10, Tuesday, at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
This is the second time that the Sky and the Liberty will face each other. In their first go-around, the Liberty carved out a dominant 99-74 victory, with five of their players scoring in double digits. The Liberty defense also held the Sky to only 36.2% from the field, with Angel Reese notably going 0-8.
There's no question that the Liberty, along with the similarly-undefeated Minnesota Lynx, are the top teams this season. The Liberty have the slight edge, as they're the best in the league in both offensive rating (115.0) and defensive rating (91.0).
They're also doing this with star guard Sabrina Ionescu only averaging a 39.3% field goal clip. When Ionescu gets into her groove, this Liberty squad will get even more dangerous.
Meanwhile, the Sky have recently won back-to-back games against the Dallas Wings but followed it up with a 79-52 defeat to the Indiana Fever. Not a single Sky player scored in double digits in that loss, spelling out the team's struggles on that end of the floor.
Chicago's Courtney Vandersloot and Moriah Jefferson will miss the game against New York.
