The Brooklyn Nets (0-3) visit the Houston Rockets (0-2) in an NBA 2025-26 game on Monday, October 27, at the Toyota Center.
The Rockets look to notch their first win at home when they host the Nets on Monday. Recently, they dropped a tight 115-111 decision to the Detroit Pistons, two nights after a double-overtime heartbreaker in Oklahoma City.
Kevin Durant led Houston with 37 points on 9-18 shooting in the loss to Detroit. However, their All-Star center Alperen Sengun struggled to gain any rhythm, as he finished with a 27.8% shooting and five personal fouls. He still stuffed the stat sheet with 17 points, 7 rebounds, and 7 assists, but the Rockets will need more from him moving forward.
As for the Nets, they’ve dropped three straight to open the season. Their most recent loss was a 118-107 setback at the hands of the San Antonio Spurs. They trailed the Spurs by 21 points at halftime, which was difficult for them to come back from.
Cam Thomas did make things interesting, as he finished with a game-high 40 markers, including 5-12 from three-point territory and a perfect 13-13 free throw clip.
The Rockets will miss the services of Dorian Finney-Smith and Fred VanVleet, while Haywood Highsmith is still listed out for the Nets.
