Bayern Munich have a great chance to rubber-stamp their place in the last 16 of the Champions League when they host Union Saint-Gilloise at the Allianz Arena on Wednesday night. 

The German champions are currently second in the standings with just two Matchdays remaining. However, they could theoretically be overhauled by at least nine other teams, so a victory on Wednesday is essential if they want to go into Matchday Eight without needing a result. 

Union Saint-Gilloise's hopes of a playoff place are looking extremely remote. They are currently just one point off the top 24, but given the daunting nature of their trip to Munich, plus a very tough Matchday Eight fixture at home to Atalanta, David Hubert's team will need to produce something very special to remain in the competition.
