The Atlanta Dream (4-2) visit the Seattle Storm (3-2) on May 30, Friday, at the Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle.
After a shaky 1-2 record to start the season, the Dream have found their footing as of late. They're currently on a three-game winning streak, carving out victories over the Dallas Wings, Connecticut Sun, and Los Angeles Sparks.
Of course, these are teams that are in the bottom four of the standings. That's why the upcoming battle against the Storm is a challenge for the Dream.
The Storm aren't really a good offensive team, but they are one of the best on the defensive end. The Storm are currently the fourth-best team in terms of defensive rating (98.9). Gabby Williams is truly an ace on that end, as she's averaging 2.0 steals and 1.2 blocks.
As for the Dream, they'll continue relying on Allisha Gray and Rhyne Howard on offense. On defense, they have their star frontcourt duo of Brittney Griner and Brionna Jones.
However, Griner is listed on the Dream's injury report, although she is probable to play. Jordin Canada will miss the game for the Dream, while Katie Lou Samuelson will sit out for the Storm.
