The Atlanta Dream (8-3) visit the New York Liberty (9-1) on June 17, Tuesday, at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. 

After winning their first nine games, the Liberty sustained their first defeat of the season against the Indiana Fever. Sabrina Ionescu had an excellent game with 34 points, but the Liberty defense wasn't able to stop Caitlin Clark's 32-point outburst. Breanna Stewart contributed 24 markers in the loss.

Still, this is a Liberty squad that ranks first in the league in both offensive rating and defensive rating. Ionescu has scored 23 and 34 in the last two games, indicating that she is finally finding her groove at this point of the season.

Meanwhile, the Dream have won three straight games, including a dominant 89-56 victory over the Washington Mystics. Allisha Gray, the team's leading scorer, topscored with 32 points built on an efficient 10-14 shooting from the field. She also went 6-of-9 from the three-point line, capping an incredible performance.

This is shaping up to be a great matchup between two perennial contenders. The Liberty may be the topranked team on both ends of the floor, but the Dream aren't far behind either. In fact, the Dream ranks 3rd in offense and 2nd in defense.
