The Dallas Wings will host the Atlanta Dream tonight at the College Park Center in Arlington, TX. Fans can follow the action once the game gets underway at 8 p.m. EST on ESPN3.
Atlanta comes into the game as the more likely to make the playoffs at 15-11, but is fresh off a disappointing loss to Golden State at home, 77-75. Dallas, on the other hand, has a lot of ground to make up just to get in the playoff conversation at 8-19. The Wings, however, are fresh off a ten-point win over the defending champs, the New York Liberty, 92-82. Dallas started out hot on the offensive end of the court but has cooled off somewhat and is currently No. 7 in the league in scoring with 82.1 points per game. Scoring has not been the issue for them; keeping the other team from scoring has been hard (86.4 points per game allowed, good for tenth in the league). The Dream has been averaging 83.5 points per game (fifth) while allowing 79.8 (fourth).
This will be the third of four games between the Dream and Wings. Atlanta won the first, 83-75 (May 24), but the Wings took the second one, 68-55 (June 24).
