The Atlanta Dream (25-14) visit the Connecticut Sun (10-29) on Monday, September 1, at the Mohegan Sun Arena. 

This is the third time that the Sun and Dream will face each other this season. They split their first two games, but they'll see each other three more times before the playoff matches start.

The Dream, who are sitting third in the standings, have won three of their last four games. This includes a recent 100-78 dominant victory over the Dallas Wings. Atlanta actually trailed by two points in the opening period, but impressive showings in the second and fourth quarters carried them through the win.

Rhyne Howard had herself a brilliant night, scoring a game-high 24 points built on an efficient 6-11 shooting from beyond the arc. She also added four rebounds, five assists, and six blocks to her tally. Four other Dream players scored in double digits, including Allisha Gray's 19 and Brionna Jones's 16.

Meanwhile, the Sun are coming off a 94-70 loss to the Minnesota Lynx. The Sun's defense allowed the Lynx to shoot 51.5% from the field. On the other end, Connecticut can only connect on 36.2% of their shots.

Jordin Canada, who is nursing a hamstring injury, will miss Monday's game for the Dream.
