Aston Villa host Chelsea at Villa Park on Wednesday night, in a fixture that is crucial to both sides' hopes of a top-five finish and a place in next season's Champions League.

Villa currently occupy one of the five Champions League places, but a poor run of form means they are now just six points ahead of sixth place Chelsea. Friday night's 2-0 loss at bottom club Wolves was arguably Villa's worst display of the season, and unless boss Unai Emery can turn his side's fortunes around, they risk missing out on a place at Europe's top table. 

Chelsea's 2-1 loss at Arsenal on Sunday once again highlighted the Blues' huge disciplinary problems. Pedro Neto's red card means that Chelsea have now had seven players sent off in the Premier League this season - three more than any other team in the division.
