After an excellent September, the team coached by Vassilis Spanoulis collapsed at home against Zalgiris Kaunas and then Chalon/Saône more recently, losing 104-99. Once again, Monaco disappointed in the Betclic Elite. Competitive against Dubai with an 18-point victory, the red and whites need to rediscover that form to get back on the road to success. A reaction is expected, particularly in defense!
Olimpia Milano finds itself in the same situation as its opponent today. A Super Cup title last month, a successful start to the league season, and two consecutive defeats against Partizan Belgrade - Tortona in the space of three days. A small margin over 80 minutes (2.5 points on average), but for the first time this year, the coin has fallen the wrong way for Ettore Messina's men. Are the Italians capable of rediscovering the offensive form they showed at the start of the season? We'll find out at the end of the fourth quarter.
