There are lots of matches taking place at Wimbledon on Friday, but there's one third-round matches in particular that is likely to draw a large and loud audience, and that is of course the match featuring British number one Emma Raducanu, who will take on the world number one Aryna Sabalenka. In her home slam, Raducanu will be looking to do something that not many people have found easy in recent times, which is get the better of one of the very best players on the planet. It won't be easy, but we saw some real fire and determination from Raducanu in the second round, with the 22-year-old beating former Wimbledon winner Marketa Vondrousova in fine style. Another performance like that and she could easily trouble the recent Roland Garros finalist. 

Aryna Sabalenka is a strong favorite ahead of this match, but that means that she has to shoulder plenty of pressure, which is usually no problem for the player from Belarus, though she'll also have to deal with a crowd that will mostly be wanting to see her opponent progress, so it would be remiss to assume that this is a done deal. The current world number one will be hoping that 2025 is her year having fallen at the semi-final stage in both 2021 and 2023.
