At the WTA event in Austin, known officially as the ATX Open, there's a very interesting match between Anna Bondar and Kamilla Rakhimova due to take place on Monday, during the late afternoon. Bondar, who is currently ranked at 65 in the world, doesn't arrive in flying form having lost each of her last two matches, most recently exiting the WTA event in Dubai at the first hurdle. However, she does have some wins against similar opponents under her belt in recent times, which is more than we can say for Rakhimova, who has been finding it very hard to win.
The Uzbekistan representative did win one qualifying match, before losing and then making it through as a lucky loser in Dubai last week, but that's not exactly much to shout about, while she's now won just one of her last six matches. There's little to suggest that she's about to burst into life this week, but let's see what happens.

However, I must say that Bondar, who is the higher-ranked player, looks a little generously priced. I think if both were at their best, then the Hungarian probably wins this match seven out of ten times, so the fact that she's the narrow underdog seems a little unjust.
Am I saying that Bondar definitely wins this? Certainly not, but I am saying that she warrants a little more respect and thus goes down as a value bet.
