Alexandra Eala has put together a promising grass-court campaign that saw her win a WTA 125 title at Birmingham and reach the semifinal of the 2026 Berlin Ladies Open after taking down world’s No.2 Elena Rybakina and world’s No.8 Elina Svitolina.

Renata Zarauza posted a 3-4 record during the Wimbledon Open warm-ups. The Mexican made it into the main draw at 's-Hertogenbosch, Berlin and Bad Homburg, but she crashed out in the first round of all of these tournaments.

The Matchup: Zarazua leads the head-to-head series 1-0, beating Eala in three sets 3-6, 6-4, 6-3 in the quarterfinal of an ITF Tournament in Sumter in 2024.
