Fruhvirtova has lost her last four matches heading into the grass court season, failing to qualify for the main draw of the French Open after falling to Linda Klimovicova 4-6, 4-6 in the first qualifying match. Ranked 152nd in the world, Fruhvirtova’s best finish in a WTA tournament happened three years ago at the 2022 Chennai Open, winning the crown after beating Magda Linette 4–6, 6–3, 6–4.
