Basavareddy is another up-and-coming American who has made some noise in this tourney. The 19-year-old has just upset No.2 seed Alejandro Tabilo 6-4 5-7 6-4 to reach the round-of-8. Basavareddy held all his serves and captured two breakpoints, including a key point in the 9th game of the third set. The victory improved his record to 6-1 in the season.
