On Thursday, the ATP 1000 action in Miami Gardens continues. From a betting point of view, looking at the early lines, I'm rather interested in the clash between Alex Michelsen and Mattia Bellucci. This is a very, very winnable match for Michelsen, who is currently ranked at number 40 in the world. He's reached the second round of this tournament in each of the last two years and having recently beaten players such as Ugo Humbert and Taylor Fritz in Indian Wells, he should be capable of advancing here.
Mattia Bellucci has also played well recently, but those positive efforts have come at Challenger level. This is an altogether different task for the Italian, who has a poor recent record against higher-ranked players. Can he change that here? I doubt it.
