The UEFA Champions League is back for the first time in 2026 this week. Ahead of Wednesday’s action, check out these juicy player props.

Where is the player prop value on Wednesday evening?

There are nine UEFA Champions League fixtures for fans and bettors to enjoy on Wednesday evening, two of which get underway at 12:45 PM for Eastern Time viewers, with the following seven due to kick off at 15:00 PM.

As the table above suggests, plenty of teams still have something to fight for, which means there should be more than a few viable betting opportunities.

Right, it’s time to get down to business. Based on the odds available (at the time of writing) from our top sportsbooks, here are Wednesday’s most appealing player props:

Marseille vs Liverpool: Mason Greenwood to Score

We’ll begin with a bet on Marseille’ Mason Greenwood to find the net against Liverpool, who continue to look all over the place defensively, especially in games against very capable counter-offensive teams.

This season, Greenwood has been in super scoring form, netting no fewer than 20 goals in all competitions, scoring those 20 goals in 26 appearances. In the UCL, the forward has three to his name, averaging a hefty 0.55 goals per 90 minutes.

Every time that Greenwood has taken to the field for Marseille in the Champions League this season, he’s looked hungry for goals, shooting with serious regularity. Only Real Madrid’s Kylian Mbappe has fired off more shots in the competition so far this season, with Greenwood averaging a whopping 4.79 shots per UCL game. He also averages 2.02 on target.

Slot’s men won’t go to Stade Vélodrome and look to shut up shop, so it’s easy to envisage Greenwood getting plenty of room to work with, and if that turns out to be the case, he should get plenty of chances.

Frankly, given what we’ve seen from Greenwood this season, odds of +200 look quite generous and should be taken advantage of.

Atalanta vs Athletic Bilbao: Alex Berenguer 1+ Assist

Moving on to the game happening at Stadio Atleti Azzurri d'Italia, known currently as New Balance Arena for sponsorship reasons.

As Athletic Bilbao travel to take on Atalanta, Alex Berenguer is worth betting on to register an assist, at least he is all the time lenient-looking odds of +550 are available.

Berenguer is easily one of Bilbao’s most creative players, offering a serious crossing threat, both from open play and from set pieces, while he’s also capable of threading balls through for speedster Nico Williams.

In the UEFA Champions League, we’ve seen Berenguer, who in all competitions is Bilbao’s top provider of goals this season, deliver just one assist, but he’s looked creative in each of his five appearances in the League Phase, averaging a decent 0.33 expected assisted goals.

No Bilbao player has played more UCL passes leading directly to a shot this season, so if you can get anything like +550, against an Atalanta side that hasn’t been too tight at the back, grab it.

Atalanta vs Athletic Bilbao: Gorka Guruzeta to Score

In the same game, it’s also worth betting on visiting forward Gorka Guruzeta, who is currently Bilbao’s top scorer, both in all competitions and in the UEFA Champions League, to notch.

A no-nonsense forward with a nose for goals, Guruzeta looks to have a slightly greater chance of doing some damage in Bergamo than early odds of +390 may have us believe.

So far during the League Phase, Guruzeta has netted three times, scoring against Qarabag and Borussia Dortmund. In that away game against Dortmund, the forward looked particularly threatening, getting into some very dangerous positions.

Averaging 0.42 xG per 90 minutes in the Champions League this term, as well as 1.52 shots on target per 90 minutes, he’s not difficult to fancy ahead of a game against an Atalanta team that, at the weekend, not only conceded to Serie A strugglers Pisa but conceded some big chances.
