Week 5's Monday Night Football match has the surprising 3-1 Jags taking on the Chiefs, who are in a bit of a rut offensively. Here's a look at the top player props for tonight's game.

At 3-1, the Jacksonville Jaguars are off to a fine start under first-year coach Liam Coen. However, it’s still not clear how good the Jaguars really are. Carolina and Houston aren’t looking like strong teams, and San Francisco has been beaten up by injuries (again).

Beating Kansas City would make for a big statement for Jacksonville, even if the Chiefs don’t look quite as potent as in past years. Knowing their likely game script gives bettors an edge with prop plays; here are a few of the best ones available for the Monday night clash.

Travis Etienne, Over 61.5 Rushing Yards (-118)

Even if Kansas City isn’t as powerful on offense as it’s been, the best way to beat the Chiefs remains to keep the ball out of Patrick Mahomes’ hands as much as possible. And the Jaguars have the ability to do that with Travis Etienne’s rushing abilities.

Etienne has topped five yards per carry three times in four games. The exception was Houston, and the Texans have always played strong defense under DeMeco Ryans. That is not the case for the Chiefs. As noted in our Jags vs Chiefs pick, Kansas City is one of the worst teams in the NFL at yards before contact, and the Jaguars are giving Etienne plenty of space.

On top of that, Jacksonville wants to limit the plays and possessions in this game. The Jaguars rank sixth in the NFL in time of possession anyway, and they’ll look to increase that with Mahomes on the other side. That means Etienne should get at least 15 carries, and if he rushes to his average YPC, that gets him to at least 75 yards and a comfortable over.

Xavier Worthy, Over 58.5 Receiving Yards (-118)

Xavier Worthy

Offenses attack Jacksonville through the air, not on the ground. The Jaguars have been robust against the run, but they’ve struggled to contain good passing offenses. Even though Jake Browning came on for an injured Joe Burrow and tossed three interceptions, Jacksonville still lost to Cincinnati because Browning threw for 241 yards and two scores.

Patrick Mahomes is obviously a lot better than Browning or any other quarterback Jacksonville has seen in 2025. Someone is going to haul in those passes, and with Rashee Rice still suspended, that someone is likely to be Worthy. He came back healthy last week against Baltimore and caught eight passes for 85 yards. With a week of game action under his belt, he’s likely to be even better this time around.

The Jaguars are a little better against the pass than the Ravens, but they’re still not very good at defending it. Look for Mahomes to carve up the Jacksonville secondary.

Jourdan Lewis to Record an Interception (+700)

The Jaguars struggle to defend the pass because they go for big plays on defense. It’s a risk-reward situation, and Jacksonville’s willing to risk the big play to get one of its own. The Jaguars are leading the league with 13 takeaways, nine of them interceptions.

Mahomes is not the most careful of quarterbacks. He has only one interception this year, but he has thrown double-digit interceptions in consecutive seasons. He’s due to send one to the wrong team, especially in a game where he’ll likely throw 35 to 40 times. Pick your favorite Jaguar defender and hope to cash in a longshot play.
