Ranked No.61 in the world, Eala has shifted her sights on becoming the first player from the Philippines to enter the WTA top-50.
Mansouri qualified for the main draw of this WTA 250 event after downing a couple of Brazilian in the qualification stages. Mansouri defeated Thaisa Grana Pedretti of Brazil 6-2 6-4 and Ana Cruz 6-3 6-2 to arrange a duel with Eala. Mansouri, who currently ranks 380th in the world, is 24-16 on the hard court in 2025.
