Now winless in 11 English Premier League games, leaving them rooted to the foot of the table with a mountain to climb, Wolves get back down to business on Wednesday evening. Rob Edwards took charge of the Old Gold for a second game at the weekend, and although the Welsh coach ultimately failed to mastermind a performance that prevented a seventh straight defeat in all competitions, he did oversee a much improved performance, so much so that the defeat wasn't exactly warranted. This home game against fellow strugglers Nottingham Forest is a great opportunity to get some points on the board.
The visitors also come into Wednesday's visitors off the back of a loss. Despite creating some decent openings against Brighton on Sunday, Sean Dyche's men came unstuck, losing by two goals to zero. Things had been starting to improve under the new boss, so the Forest fans probably won't be feeling too down ahead of this fixture, though the mood will quickly start to turn sour if they see their team lose to an opponent that has not won all season.

At the start of the season, under the previous managerial regime, Jean-Ricner Bellegarde had fallen out of favor slightly. However, since Rob Edwards has come in the French midfielder looks like he may be more involved, which should please the fans. Bellegarde is a lovely player, and he's kept fit and given plenty of game time, he can be a very creative player, and creativity is what Wednesday's hosts need.
Last time out against Aston Villa, in Edwards' second game in charge, Bellegarde returned to the starting XI, and he very nearly repayed his new coach with a beautiful assist, running forward with purpose, beating his man out wide, before putting the ball on a plate for Jorgen Strand-Larsen, who disapointingly couldn't convert. Off the back of that, though, do not be surprised if the man who delivered seven assists last season, starts providing goals for his team.
Frankly, given the qualities that Bellegarde has, combined with his numbers last season and his encouraging performance last time out, odds of +850 look far too generous to ignore.
