The St. Louis Blues (12-15-7, 6-8-4 Home) will try to get back on the right side of the scoreboard tonight when they host the Winnipeg Jets at the Enterprise Center in St. Louis, MO, with the puck scheduled to drop at 8 p.m. EST with coverage provided by ESPN+.

With a sub-.500 record, it is safe to say it has not been an easy season for the Blues. They lost their last time out, on Monday, a home game vs. the Nashville Predators, 5-2. It was their third loss in their last four games and fifth in December (out of eight games played). They are one of 14 teams to average fewer than three goals per game, at 2.53 (third-to-last). Of course, when your team averages more goals allowed per game than every other team in the NHL, it is going to be hard to win games. (3.56 GAPG). As for the Jets, they’ve had their own struggles. With Monday’s 3-2 OT loss to Ottawa, Winnipeg has lost six of eight games played this month. Their wins came against Washington (5-1) and Buffalo (4-1). Their struggles can be traced even further back as the Jets have gone just 3-8-2 since Nov. 18 when they were 12-7.
