The Washington Commanders (4-1) look to be the team to beat in the NFC East through the 1st 5 games of the season. They face the Baltimore Ravens (3-2) on Sunday who are playing much better than their 3-2 record indicates.  After losing back-to-back games to Kansas City and Las Vegas, the Ravens found their footing and have won 3 straight games over worthy opponents in Dallas, Buffalo, and Cincinnati. The rank 2nd in the league in scoring with 29.4ppg and 1st in total yards per game with 447.6. Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry have proven to tough for defenses to figure out on the ground. The 211.2 rushing yards per game they are averaging is also 1st in the league. If the defense can improve from the 25.2ppg they are allowing, the Ravens could be the best team in the NFL. The Commanders have surprised almost everyone to this point. Jayden Daniels is the early frontrunner for Rookie of the Year and Brian Robinson Jr and Austin Ekeler have been a formidable rushing attack that is 2nd in the league only to their Sunday opponents in rushing yards. They are a spot ahead of the Ravens in scoring as they sit in 1st place with 31ppg.
