After losing five of six games during their last homestand, the Washington Nationals (4-8, 3-3 Away) will hope their luck will change when they hit the road this weekend to take on the Milwaukee Brewers (8-4, 5-1 Home). First Pitch at American Family Field in Milwaukee, WI, is scheduled for 7:40 p.m. EST with coverage provided by MLB.TV.

Hitting the ball has not been an issue for the Nationals. Through 12 games, Washington is tied for fourth in home runs (16) and in batting average (.269). Their pitching staff ERA, however, leaves something to be desired at a league-worst 6.06. Jake Irvin is scheduled to start the day for the Nationals. He is 1-1 on the season with an 8.00 ERA, 11 strikeouts, and a 1.56 WHIP. Irvinn has yet to make it past the fifth inning.
