The Nationals bounced back in a big way on Saturday as Amed Rosario drove four runs to power Washington to a resounding 11-6 win over the Reds. Despite allowing four earned runs in 5.1 innings, Trevor Williams still bagged the win since Reds star pitcher Nick Lodolo squandered two more runs than him in the same time on the mound.
The Reds, meanwhile, failed to win three in a row following a disappointing night for Nick Lodolo on the mound. Lodolo allowed six runs, 10 hits in 5.1 innings against the Nationals. Cincinnati scored 6 runs with Spencer Steer driving two runners home.

Martinez isn’t the kind of hurler who blanks opposing teams but what he does is he prevents teams from scoring homers as often as possible. Nationals' McKenzie Gore (3.90 ERA) isn’t a bad pick to counter Martinez, but I doubt Washington can replicate their 11-run explosion on Saturday. If Game 3 turns into a high-scoring affair, I am confident the Reds will come away with the win because their capacity to sustain a high-octane offense.
