In LaLiga this Saturday, Villarreal and Valencia meet in a regional derby which is dubbed The Derbi de la Comunitat.
Interestingly, both are coming here on the back of away games against Levante, also in the same Valencian region. Both teams claimed all three points, though Valencia found one more goal than Villarreal.
This is a battle at opposite ends of the table, with Villarreal sitting comfortably in third whilst the visitors are only two points above the dreaded bottom three. Thus the points are even more crucial for Valencia, who will be looking to improve this time round following their unsatisfactory 0-2 defeat in the first time round.
In all competitions, El Submarino Amarillo have lost four out of their last six, plus they are experiencing holes in their defence as of late, giving away 11 goals in their last six on home soil and have held onto just one clean sheet in their last 13 meetings.
Regarding the visitors, they have been doing well in scoring regularly, only failing to score in one out of their last 17 and, what’s more, scoring in each of their last nine on the road.

Our Villarreal vs Valencia Prediction
Firstly, Los Murciélagos are missing two key forwards, so Beltrán should be starting this game. He has been in the starting lineup for many games now, and although he hasn’t scored in this period he has been shooting lots and has assisted twice.
In his last six starts, the Argentine has noted nine shots, and he typically shows up in big games. Specifically, three out of his last four games have been against big teams, in which he has shot multiple times in each, and the same can be said for his last three away games against the superior teams, where he even scored against Atletico Madrid.
With this momentum he’s been building, and given the fact Villarreal played more recently whislt Valencia's had slightly longer rest time, Beltrán can make a big impact for the away side this weekend.
Our Villarreal vs Valencia Pick: Lucas Beltrán to Score.
