The first UFC 316 Main Card battle will see Vicente Luque (23-10-1) and Kevin Holland (27-13-0) clash at the Prudential Center in the UFC welterweight division. Luque will be looking to stun Kevin and continue his recovery from damaging losses in recent assignments. "The Silent Assassin" recovered from his KO loss to Joaquin Buckley last year to defeat Themba Gorimbo in the first round via an anaconda choke. Winning back-to-back fights will be on his mind this weekend.
Like Vicente, Kevin Holland has also suffered some hard losses lately, hindering his rise in the division. He opened the year with a defeat against Reinier de Ridder, losing in the first round via a rear neck choke. Earlier in October, "The Trailblazer" lost to Roman Dolidze via KO/TKO in the first round. However, he bounced back from these embarrassing defeats to get a decision victory against Gunnar Nelson in March this year. Another win will be welcome for the popular fighter.
