As well as the action at the Queen's Club in London, there's WTA grass-court action in the Netherlands, where the Libema Open takes place near the city of s-Hertogenbosch. One of Friday's more interesting clashes sees Veronika Kudermetova and Ekaterina Alexandrova do business, and not for the first time in 2025. Intriguingly, this will be the third time that the players have clashed in 2025, while they've also met at this tournament before. 

Back in 2023, the pair met each other in s-Hertogenbosch, with Alexandrova prevailing after the pair shared three sets, which is something that they've often done when facing off. Both players have made pleasing starts to the grass-court season, winning each of their two matches at this tournament without dropping a set, so we should see two confident competitors take to the court on Friday. Will this promote another hard-fought, drawn-out battle? I think so.
