The San Antonio Spurs (2-1) face the Utah Jazz (1-2) in a 2026 NBA Summer League matchup on Wednesday, July 15, at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.
Relatively, it has been a good Summer League showing for the Spurs. They're coming off a 90-80 win over the Milwaukee Bucks, with RJ Davis's 20 points leading the way. Ja'Kobi Gillespie and Emanuel Miller chipped in 13 markers apiece.
Through three games, Davis has compiled decent averages of 12.3 points, 2.0 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 1.7 steals.
However, the name to watch for the Spurs is incoming sophomore Carter Bryant. The defensive-minded wing didn't suit up in the win against the Bucks. But he was the leading scorer for the team in the first two games, producing 15.5 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 2.0 blocks.
If Bryant plays, the Spurs have a good chance on Wednesday, especially with the Jazz expected to come in short-handed.
It does look like the Jazz' Summer League star trio of Darryn Peterson, Ace Bailey, and Cody Williams will sit out against the Spurs. At this point, the Jazz might have to rely more on the likes of Matthew Cleveland, Orlando Robinson, and Jonas Aidoo.
