Utah Mammoth’s performance in the current 2025/26 NHL season has been wonderful, and they currently stand out as the only team that won their last five consecutive games. With that in mind, they’ll face a new challenge when facing the Minnesota Wild next Saturday, in a game that will be their third clash against a Central Division team in less than a week.

Despite those very positive results, the Minnesota Wild is expected to show a more competitive face, as they will finally be back home after playing five consecutive road games, in which they were only able to win one of them. With that in mind, the Wild must expect players like Matthew Boldy and Kirill Kaprizov to maintain their roles as the offensive leaders, but it’s worth noting that it won’t be possible for them to contend for a playoff spot by depending solely on two players.

Meanwhile, the Utah Mammoth are having such a wonderful collective performance at the beginning of the season that it allowed them to defeat very competitive teams like the Colorado Avalanche and the Boston Bruins in their most recent games. However, it must be noted that they were only able to score more than three goals in only two of their last five games, so they still need to increase their offensive effectiveness to become real contenders to battle for playoff spots.
