The Boston Bruins (19-14-0, 11-5-0 Home) will try to get back on the right side of the scoreboard today when they host the Utah Mammoth (16-15-3, 8-10-2 Away) at TD Garden in Boston, MA. The puck is scheduled to drop at 7 p.m. EST with coverage provided by ESPN+.
Boston went into its last game, Sunday vs. the Wild in Minnesota, riding a four-game winning streak that saw them improve to 19-13 on the year. They had won each game by at least three goals and scored 4+ in each game. Both teams took the same number of shots on goal, but Bruins goalie Jeremy Swayman only stopped 25 of 31 shot attempts. It was his second-lowest save percentage of the year and the most goals he has allowed this season. As for Utah, the Mammoth ended a three-game losing streak on Friday with a 5-3 home win against Seattle and followed it up on Sunday with a 5-4 OT win against the Penguins.
This will be the second time these teams have played this season. They last met on Oct. 20 in Utah, where the Mammoth pulled out a 3-2 win after Dylan Guenther scored the go-ahead goal about midway through the third.
