USA versus Switzerland is an international friendly matchup on Tuesday night at Geodis Park. The USMNT, under former Tottenham coach Pochettino, has put immense trust in youngsters as they look to build a team for the future. However, the results haven’t gone their way lately, losing three games on the bounce. This includes a 2-1 loss to Turkey on Saturday, with youngster Jack McGlynn scoring the only goal. They must pick up form ahead of their CONCACAF Gold Cup campaign.

Switzerland, meanwhile, is a top side with plenty of star power within its ranks. They are unbeaten in their last three assignments, including back-to-back wins against Luxembourg and Mexico. Murat Yakin’s men were ruthless against Mexico, scoring three goals in the second half to win 4-2. The Swiss are currently tough to beat thanks to their solid defensive core and talented attackers who flourish on the counter. Maybe the USMNT can copy this approach.
