Umar Nurmagomedov (18-1-0) vs Mario Bautista (16-2-0) is a UFC Bantamweight matchup on Saturday night at Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi. Umar Nurmagomedov is a 29-year-old Russian bruiser who joined the franchise in January 2021. He has since participated in seven assignments, winning six of them. His six-fight winning streak ended in January this year after a title loss to Merab Dvalishvili. Nurmagomedov will be eager to bounce back from the loss this weekend.
Mario Bautista is another in-form fighter who will be eager to show what he can do against the best names in the division. The 32-year-old Brazilian mixed martial artist joined the UFC in January 2019, losing his debut fight against Cody Sandhagen. He could get a title rematch with a win against Bautista, who is also hungry for a title shot of his own. Umar’s brother (Usman) also recently won the PFL lightweight title, which should hype him up on Saturday night. We don’t see him losing to the in-form Bautista.
