by Bradley Gibbs in Premier League Picks
Saturday's English Premier League menu begins with a starter of Tottenham vs Man United. In a repeat of the 2024/25 UEFA Europa League Final, which was won by Spurs, these two teams will meet on the same points. The hosts struggled at home to Chelsea last week, but thankfully, Thomas Frank's men got back on the horse during the week, beating FC Copenhagen in the UCL in devastating style. Will such a win spark the hosts into life here?
There should be no shortage of confidence in the visiting locker room, with the Red Devils avoiding defeat in each of their last four matches, three of which they've won. Is Ruben Amorim finally starting to turn the Man United ship in the right direction? We'll soon find out.

Tottenham - Manchester United: Form Analysis
Let's be honest, it's been a mixed start to life at Spurs for Thomas Frank, who for the most part, has certainly got the Lilywhites to tighten up. Only league leaders Arsenal have conceded less goals than Tottenham so far this season, while only four teams have scored more. Considering that Saturday's hosts never got anywhere near the top six last season, the fact that Frank has his team sitting in sixth place ahead of a November fixture does represent progress. However, things need to improve at home, where Spurs are without a win in four EPL games, three of which they've lost.
United's away form hasn't been too clever, which should fill the hosts with confidence. Ruben Amorim's men did beat Liverpool at Anfield recently, which was a massive result for the Red Devils, though massive results have been few and far between. They've won only one out of five away games in the league this season. Not exactly the form of a club on the rise.

Tottenham & Manchester United Squad Analysis
Lucas Bergvall will continue to miss out for Spurs following his early concussion-based exit last weekend. The hosts will also still be without Yves Bissouma, Radu Dragusin, Dejan Kulusevski and James Maddison, all of whom have been out for a while. More crucially, Thomas Frank is sweating on the fitness of Mohamed Kudus, who has reportedly been nursing a minor knock this week.
Ruben Amorim has only one injury to contend with at present and that's Lisandro Martinez, who continues to be sidelined with a knee injury. Summer signings Benjamin Sesko, Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha are expected to form a rather expensive front three for the visitors.

Our Tottenham vs Manchester United Prediction
Somewhat surprisingly, Pape Matar Sarr is yet to go in the book this season, but it's starting to feel like a first yellow is right around the corner. The Senegalese midfielder was fortunate not to be booked against Chelsea last week, while he also made multiple fouls in the UCL during the week and could easily have seen yellow.
Sarr is easily Spurs' most prolific fouler in terms of fouls per 90 minutes, while he's typically made lots of fouls in tricky home games of this nature, fouling a total of nine times at home to Chelsea and Bournemouth.
Our Tottenham vs Man United Pick: Pape Matar Sarr to Be Booked.
