On Wednesday, in the Spanish city of Bilbao, two teams that have struggled domestically will get the chance to transform their season into a successful one. Despite both failing massively to get competitive in the English Premier League, both Tottenham and Man United have reached the final of the UEFA Europa League.
For Spurs and Ange Postecoglou this is the chance to treat those loyal fans to a rare piece of silverware, and it's also a chance for the Australian boss to make good on his promise of always winning in his second season. It looked a bold claim earlier in the year, but it's now one that is very close to coming true. For the Red Devils, this is also a huge chance for Rubem Amorim to prove that he's turning the tide at Old Trafford. Having lost to Spurs not one, not twice, but thrice this season already, can the men in red finally come out on top when it matters most? We'll soon find out.

Tottenham - Manchester United: Form Analysis
It's been a strange few weeks for both, with neither side really having anything to play for domestically for quite some time. As a result, the Spurs boys don't exactly boast impressive form ahead of this final, losing to Aston Villa in rather tame fashion on Friday night, while they also failed to get seriously competitive when losing to Crystal Palace last weekend.

Something rather similar can be said for the Manchester United players, who quite clearly have been saving themselves for Wednesday's fixture on Spanish soil. On Friday night, they struggled to get going at Stamford Bridge, losing by a goal to zero against Chelsea, while they were soundly beaten by West Ham a week ago. Rather interestingly, despite beating Athletic Club both home and away in the semi-finals of the Europa League, United haven't won a league game since March.

Unfortunately for Spurs, some key players will miss this final. Ange Postecoglou will not be able to call on the services of James Maddison, which is a clear blow, while Dejan Kulusevski, who is a vital cog in the Spurs machine, has also been ruled out with injury. In other team news, Postecoglou is expected to bring the likes of Rodrigo Bentancur, Micky van de Ven, Cristian Romero and Richarlison back into the starting XI.

He also averages a pleasing 0.83 shots on target per 90 minutes, taking three shots, registering one on target when his team faced Man United earlier in the season.
