After the Pistons lost their 5-game winning streak at the hands of the Warriors in Detroit, now with a 19-19 record, two days later they host the Raptors and will once again be 5.5-point favorites at Little Caesars Arena on the betting sites. The Raptors, with a record of 8-30 this season, are coming off a predictable 126-136 loss to the Cavaliers in Cleveland.
This will be the third meeting of the season between these Eastern Conference rivals, the Pistons won both, although the two games were even. The last one, on November 25, was also in Detroit and ended 102-100 in favor of the Pistons. However, one important fact is that Cunningham did not play in that game, but he remains healthy for this new clash. Cunningham is without a doubt the Pistons' strongman and has had an excellent January against the Timberwolves so far, scoring a season-high 40 points. In the last game on January 9, the Pistons' offense didn't support him in the recent 104-107 loss at the hands of the Warriors, but Cunningham shined once again scoring 32 points and registering 8 assists.
Even though the Raptors have had a bad season, the truth is that, in the betting, their ATS record is quite solid, specifically it is 21-16-1, since they tend to get into close games.
