The Yankees didn't have a great game against the Blue Jays, yet with another strong start from Carrasco and strong relief pitching, they led by one run into the final inning against the Blue Jays. Aaron Boone should be worried after his star closer, Devin Williams, simply hasn't worked this season. His ERA is above 7.00, and after he allowed four runs to the Rays in Tampa to lose another game and blow a good lead, the same thing happened against the Blue Jays, and the patience of the die-hard Yankees fans seems to have run out for their closer.

Aaron Boone has shown himself to be persistent when a closer is underperforming and tends to give him more opportunities until he finds his rhythm, but Williams' case has reached a breaking point. It seems Boone will consider putting Williams in less pressure-inducing situations after this Blown Save.
