The Blue Jays were able to bounce back from a poor Opening Day and, playing a fairly complete series, swept the Nationals in Toronto, whom they didn't allow more than 3 runs in any of the three games. Springer is batting fifth and hit his first home run of the season, while Bichette went 0-for-5 in the leadoff spot but still has an AVG above 300. Now, the Blue Jays head to City Field to face the Mets, with the home team favored in a pitching duel between Gausman and Megill.

Of course, the expectations surrounding Soto's first game at City Field, which is expected to be packed this Friday, are high. The Dominican, who bats behind Lindor, has a home run this season and has a hit in 5 of his 6 games.
