The Blue Jays are undoubtedly the hottest team in MLB, on a furious unbeaten streak that has extended throughout the month of July. After a four-game sweep of the Yankees in Toronto, the Jays regained the lead in the Eastern Division, taking a three-game lead over the Yankees and four over the Rays.

The schedule now seems to continue favoring the Blue Jays and urging them to keep winning, as they also won the first of their six-game road series against the White Sox and the Athletics, both last in their division.

For a long stretch, the Blue Jays were at the bottom of the MLB in home runs, but long-range hitting returned in abundance for the Jays in July. In the first game of the series against the White Sox alone, the Blue Jays hit three home runs, with Loperfido, Lukes, and Barger each hitting one.
