Baltimore Orioles vs Toronto Blue Jays Prediction & Picks - MLB

Tuesday, the Toronto Blue Jays (19-22) take on the Baltimore Orioles (26-14) in Game 2 of their 3-game series. Prior to the 1st game on Monday, the Jays were having a pretty miserable May. With a record of just 3-6, they were in search of starting this road series off on the right foot, and they did just that. Jose Berrios went 7 strong innings, allowing 2 runs on 3 hits, but did not factor into the decision. Daulton Varsho launched a homerun to deep right in the top of the 8th to tie the game and ultimately send it into extra innings. There, he grounded out but scored Cavan Biggo which was the only run scored in the 10th to give the Jays the win. For the Orioles, the loss marked their 1st back-to-back losses since mid-April. They had been 7-3 in May to that point and will now have to avoid a 3-game losing streak which would also cause them to lose this series. Kyle Bradish will make his 3rd start for the O’s in this one. While he has yet to factor into a decision, he has pitched well. Through 2 games, he has pitched 9.2 innings and allowed just 2 runs on 8 hits while striking out 14 batters. Chris Bassit (3-5, 5.06) will be on the mound for the Jays and will be tasked with prevented the league leading team in homeruns from putting any up early in this one.
