After winning the 1st game of this 4-game series, the Rangers went off for 15 runs and picked up the win in the 2nd game of the series yesterday. Who knows how the 1st game of the double-header will go but we need to focus on Game 2 here. Rookie, Jack Leiter will get the go for the Rangers. He looked every bit of a rookie in his 1st and only start of the season. He lasted just 3.2 innings and allowed 7 runs on 8 hits and stuck out just 3 while walking the same number against the Tigers. He faces a lineup that has not struck much fear into opposing pitchers to this point but he will still need to be better than his last outing. Osvaldo Bido is scheduled to be on the bump for the A’s in this 2nd game but it will be a question as to how long he goes. Bido will be making his 1st start after spending his time in the bullpen. While it will be hard to handicap this 2nd game without knowing what goes on in Game 1, we will have to take our best educated guess for this one.
