The Angels will be preparing to sweep the Rangers after taking their first two games with commanding wins. They’re coming off a 5-2 win on Saturday, with Walbert Urena delivering another solid performance, allowing only five hits in his five innings. Mike Trout also delivered a two-run homer to lift the Angels past the Rangers.
The Rangers, meanwhile, will only have themselves to blame after wasting ample chances in their most recent defeat. Both the Rangers and the Angels had eight hits, but the visitors managed to convert just one hit with RISP in 11 chances. Texas also left 11 on base.
