The Houston Texans will play host to the Tennessee Titans on Sunday at NRG Stadium, seeking their first win of the season.
The Texans, 4-1 in their last five meetings with the Titans, opened the betting lines as the clear-cut favorite at -390 moneyline while offering a +100 value on a -7.5-point spread line.
Current Form:
The Texans entered Week 4 with a 0-3 record after falling to the Los Angeles Rams 9-14 in the season opener. This was followed by a heartbreaking 19-20 loss to the Tampa Bay Rays and a 10-17 defeat to the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The Texans’ 172.3 passing yards per game fall in the bottom quadrant in that category. Houston also ranks 23rd in rushing yards (95.0) and 32nd in points per game (12.7). On the positive note, the Texans own the fifth-best defense in the NFL this season, averaging 17.0 points allowed per game.
The Titans are also winless heading into their fourth game of the season. Tennessee lost to the Indianapolis Colts 20-41, the LA Rams 19-33, and the Denver Broncos 12-20.
The Titans rank 32nd in passing yards per game (133.7) and 28th in rushing yards (88.7) while carrying the fourth-worst offense in the NFL at 17.0 points per game. Tennessee’s 30.1 points allowed per game makes them the third-worst defensive team in the NFL per this category.
Players to Watch Out:
Houston Texans: Quarterback CJ Stroud (599 yards with two touchdowns), running back Nick Chubb (141 yards on 34 carries with one TD), and wide receiver Nico Collins (181 yards on four receptions with two TDs).
Tennessee Titans: Quarterback Cam Ward (506 yards with two TDs), running back Tony Pollard (197 yards on 54 carries), and linebacker Cody Barton (20 tackles).

Our Tennessee Titans vs Houston Texans Prediction
Although their offense might not be at the level it was last season, the Texans should have enough offensive firepower to blow out the skidding Titans.
Get Houston now at +100 on -7.5 points at DraftKings before this line loses its value in the coming hours.
Again, Houston has beaten Tennessee in four of their last five meetings, including a 23-14 victory last January. Stroud played sparingly in their final regular-season game of the 2024 season but still completed six passes for 50 yards and one touchdown. Football analysts expect Stroud to put up better numbers against the Titans, among the worst defensive teams in the NFL. Also, don’t forget that the Texans are still a formidable defensive team (17 points allowed per game) despite their offensive struggles this season.
Fearless Forecast: the Texans 24, Titans 14
Our betting prediction for the Tennessee Titans vs. the Houston Texans: the Texans -7.5 Points.
