The first game of Wednesday's MLB schedule will be the Rays-Tigers matchup. Betting odds are on Detroit as the overwhelming favorite to win, with odds around -155. This is no wonder: the Tigers have the best record in the American League, and in Game 1 of the series, when Montero started for the Tigers and Baz for the Rays, the Tigers came out as slight underdogs and still won.

However, Reese Olson will start for the Rays on Wednesday afternoon. He is 4-for-3 with a healthy ERA of 2.89. After missing all of June due to injury, Olson had a decent outing on Independence Day in front of 38,000 at Progressive Field. Olson didn't win that game against the Guardians, but pitched 4.1 innings, allowing just one ER via HR, and striking out three.
